Get Your Life back By Overcoming Depression

Hello,

If you would like to regain control of your life by overcoming depression I urge you to read this.

It’s that important.

Here’s what this is all about:

Back in 2005, at the age of 42, I was diagnosed with Major Clinical Depression after the passing of my father and 2 close friends within a period of few months. I was devastated, feeling lost, hopeless and helpless.

The actual depressive episode was not a shock to me, what threw me out of base was the realization that I had been depressed since I was a child. So I knew I needed help desperately.

Since I had been depressed my entire life, I needed to know how not to be depressed. It was so ingrained in my psyche that I couldn’t fathom the thought of not being depressed.

I started asking myself: what does it feel not being depressed?. It was like having to learn to walk or speak all over again.

Did I know what to do?. No at all, but when my doctor’s help and lots of soul searching the answers started to come up

When a person is depressed the last thing she thinks is, am I depressed?. Sad feelings and emotions make it very difficult to seek for help because your logical mind gets clouded and a lot of times it takes family and/or friends to pull you out and take you to the doctor.

What threw me out of base was when the doctor told me that I had been depressed pretty much for my entire life, based on my clinical history.

After I while I realize that I could not remember the last time I was ever happy.

You know what Dr. Phil says: “you can’t change what you don’t acknowledge”. Getting diagnosed was the first step towards a better and fuller life.

Getting better became my daily mantra.

I will share with you my journey on all the ways I got depression help for over 5 years.

This is my intention, to share with you the ups and down of this debilitating disease and let you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Remember I have been there, I know is not easy but doable.

“If I could do it, so could you”.

Of course and this is big disclaimer, I am in no way suggesting to take my advice literally and not seek professional help for your depression. My recovery occurred thank you to the outstanding support from health professionals and alternative medicine providers.
